This whipped body butter has the texture of a hard butter but it gently melts as soon as it comes in contact with your skin. It is very penetrating and moisturizing.
This whipped body butter can also be used on your hair. Customers have found that this butter is very moisturizing for their natural hair. I use this body butter to moisturize my twists and they stay moisturized for days.
Your skin is the largest organ of your body and it is important to use products that will help keep your skin vibrant, moisturized, and healthy. I eliminated coconut oil from my recipe because my skin fell out of love with the oil. I replaced the oil with Babassu Oil. This oil is a great alternative to coconut oil.
This Shea Body Butter will leave your skin extremely hydrated year round. I created this recipe out of necessity. I've suffered with eczema my whole life and I have always had problems with finding products that would alleviate the dryness of my skin. I can not tell you how many times I've used prescription based products that made my skin worse for wear. My skin would get so dry that it would crack and bleed. This description may seem graphic but this is what individuals with eczema experience every day. Individuals with psoriasis can also benefit from the use of shea butter. Shea butter can not cure psoriasis but it can help with alleviating the dryness that you may be experiencing.
Shea butter will do a great job of hydrating your skin. When your skin is dry, you will scratch and this will cause inflammation and open skin. Which makes your symptoms worse. My Shea Body Butter recipe is great for everyday use, even if you do not have eczema or psoriasis. I love to use my Shea Body Butter right after I exit the shower, after I wash my hands, and just whenever I feel like my skin needs to be hydrated. If you're looking for a everyday moisturizer that you can use that will keep your skin hydrated, this Shea butter is for you! If you would like to purchase a different scent, let me know. I would love to make you a scent of your choice.
